About the EPTDO (Environmental Protection Trainings and Development Organization):
Environmental Protection Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) is a non-political, non-governmental and non-profit organization NGO focused exclusively on climate change, environmental safety, livelihood approaches, agriculture development, gender equality and inclusion, education and ecological issues in Afghanistan. Based on the Afghanistan Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) law, the EPTDO organization was officially registered in 2020 with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan as a non-profit and tax-exempt NGO. EPTDO has a track record of successful completion of projects/activities in all regions of Afghanistan. This organization also has a dynamic team of environmental and climate change experts, policy makers, activists, lawyers, community organizers, public health experts, media and communication experts and agricultural development specialists.
EPTDO-EVN has an active group of volunteer which volunteering membership is always open for active interested people through an online application and interview process. We have received over 6,000 applications through the online application system, and conducted more than 5,000 interviews for volunteer membership. Following three rounds of interviews, 1,482 qualified male and female volunteers were selected, with 682 of them being female.

Job Description
The monitoring – evaluation and reporting officer’s primary objective is to ensure accurate and high-quality report development. Regular visit from the projects in the province and targeted districts. Collect, analyze, and consolidate data from various sources and regular site visits to create reports that reflect the project’s activities, progress, and impact.
General criteria:
– Must be above 18 years of age
– Should have a background in monitoring and reporting livelihood projects, communication, community engagement, and general administration works
– Should hold a relevant degree, preference will be given to Master Degree holders
– Should have proficiency in English, Dari, and Pashto languages
– Should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience
The positions is based in Urozgan with frequent travels to targeted districts.
