Job Description
Position Objective
Project management expert with experiences in project management, will be responsible for managing Activities in his/her province. He/she will help manage the team’s internally driven projects and collaborate with other employees of the project, his/her role will have an impact on Project implementation, and overall project activities, He/she will provide structure and process to drive efficiencies in the way in which the grant team executes and tracks work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The project officer will be engaged in effectively managing the project team, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that key activities, milestones, timelines, and resources are in place, the project officer can help ensure the project is successfully implementation.
- The project officer will be actively engaged in managing daily tasks of the project team in the relevant province.
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Developing project Action Plan, project Profile, risk management plan, and other related documents in coordination with the EPTDO senior management/executives
- Ensuring that all key activities, milestones, timelines, and resources are in place for the successful implementation of the project.
- Ensuring the implementation, supervision, monitoring and evaluation of provincial team
- Ensure timely preparation of work plans, budget forecast and activity plans
- Prepare a project report and submit it to the EPTDO HQ office
- Provide daily updates from project progress to the EPTDO senior management team in Kabul.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual work plans as requested by HQ office.
- Ensure establishment of a close working relationship and coordination with government, other organizations and community institutions and involve them for program implementation and management.
- Ensure regular monitoring of the project and that the assigned activities are carried out as per plan.
- Improve the capacity of field team and make sure the team is well aware of the project components and activities
- Ensure regular monitoring of the project activities and coordination with the M&E unit.
- Maintain the filling system (hard and soft)
- Manage the filling, storing and security of documents.
- Prepare and arrange required official letters inside and outside department.
- Prepare monthly cash request for project activities and sharing with Kabul head office
- Participate in the capacity building programs inside and outside of the office in case requested by the program
- To perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Law and Political science, or any other relevant fields.
Experience & Skills:
- At least 3-4 years relevant work experience
- Fluency in written and spoken Dari, Pashto and English languages
- Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel) Internet
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, innovative and team worker
- Familiar with planning, and prioritizing tasks
- Honest, active and well mannered

Master trainer will be responsible for managing Activities in his/her relevant province. He/she will help to prepare training materials and conduct trainings for the selected beneficiaries. Master trainer will directly report to the project officer and he/she will ensure the delivery of the training is based on the project plan.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Master trainer is responsible to develop training module for poultry rearing management and kitchen gardening trainings selected beneficiaries.
- Design training material/manuals and conduct trainings in both Pashto and Dari National languages.
- Ensure provision of high-quality training to target groups/beneficiaries.
- Deliver effective trainings based on the plans
- Make sure Teaching Kits and other training supplementary materials are properly used in the teaching and learning process.
- Ensure and provide appropriate use of the teaching and learning equipment and materials in the teaching and learning process.
- Participate in workshops, seminars & conference organized by the education program

Regular visit from the projects in the province and targeted districts. Collect, analyze, and consolidate data from various sources and regular site visits to create reports that reflect the project’s activities, progress, and impact.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Under the direct supervision of the Provincial Manager and Program Officer, the M&E and Reporting Officer will be responsible to conduct regular visits from the sites and prepared visit and reports.
- The M&E and Reporting Officer will ensure that the project is based on the plan and necessary instructions are proved for betterment of the project.
- The M&E and Reporting Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of the Project; assisting the Project Manager in preparing Site-visits, Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining the MIS of the Project and will be responsible for the collection & analysis of different data in relation to the project activities.
- The M&E and Reporting Officer works in close collaboration with work closely with project team, stakeholders, relevant government sector, to make sure that the project is successful.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics or related field
Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E/MIS in development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/Government.
- Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and production of reports.
- Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software or methods.
- Strong training & facilitation skills.
- Experience in data entry, data cleaning and conducting interviews.
- Experience using Microsoft Office package, especially Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Experience writing reports in English and National Languages
- Excellent communications skills required. Fluency in English and Dari required, additional languages preferred.
- Commitment to the mission and objectives of the projects and EPTDO
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to the field, including to remote and insecure locations, and visit project sites to perform logistic tasks.

- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Position Objective
Environmental Protection, Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) is seeking an experienced training facilitator for Poultry Rearing Management Kitchen Gardening project. Main purpose of the position is to assist master trainer in an impactful delivery of the trainings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regularly perform training follow up.
- Assist Master Trainer in developing training materials (manuals and training modules, session plans)
- Facilitate and manage delivery of trainings in the district and provincial level.
- Ensures that a participative and interactive training approach is adopted during training delivery.
- Prepare training report for assigned trainings including daily attendance sheets and etc.
- Ensures that the presentations are developed and delivered in accordance to subjected curriculum and training plans
- Ensure that appropriate logistic, administrative and financial support is provided for the trainings in coordination with Admin & Finance section.
- Ensure the sound and suitable training environment is provided for any training
- Maintains or create filing and record keeping system.
- To ensure that the necessary preparation has been undertaken prior to commencement of any training
- To ensure that protocols, policies and procedures are followed in the performance of all duties
- Planning, verification and distribution of the materials to the beneficiaries.
- Work closely with expatriate and Afghan master trainers to provide support for their activities
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested
