EPTDO Organization has received a quota for COP30
The COP30 conference holds vital importance in raising awareness, engaging with world leaders, and advocating for impactful climate actions. This significant event will serve as an excellent platform for EPTDO and all its networks to collaboratively share insights and strategies aimed at addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change. By fostering dialogue and cooperation among diverse stakeholders, COP30 can catalyze meaningful progress toward sustainable solutions.
As we prepare for COP30 following the outcomes of COP29, our focus is on gathering accurate data from the most vulnerable communities. This preparation involves actively collaborating with these communities to identify local solutions and highlight key advocacy issues that require urgent attention. By centering our efforts on grassroots insights and needs, we aim to ensure that the voices of those most affected by climate change are heard and prioritized in global discussions.
The photos showcase our visit to local communities in Kunar province, where residents are voicing their struggles with the challenges posed by climate change. For years, these communities have been suffering from its adverse effects, including changing weather patterns and diminishing resources. Their firsthand accounts reveal the urgent need for targeted interventions and support, emphasizing the importance of elevating their experiences in discussions at COP30. By highlighting these issues, we aim to not only raise awareness but also to advocate for solutions that address the specific needs of those most impacted.
