An international conference was hosted by Afghan youths from various countries worldwide to commemorate International Youth Day. The conference, held online, aimed to gather Afghan youth from different countries to discuss and find solutions to the prevalent issues faced by young people both within and outside Afghanistan. This momentous event proved to be highly successful, attracting hundreds of participants who delivered impactful speeches from different corners and solutions for the Afghan young people.
Mr. Abdulhadi Achakzai, Founder and CEO of Environmental Protection Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) a prominent young figure, graced the conference with his presence and delivered several thought-provoking speeches centered on the challenges and opportunities available for youth. He emphasized the importance of empowerment, education, and skill development for young individuals in order to overcome the challenges they encounter. Mr. Achakzai shared valuable insights from his recent participation at the UN-COP27 international conference held in Egypt, shedding light on the discussions and outcomes of the event.
Moreover, he announced his forthcoming participation at the upcoming UN-COP28 conference, scheduled to take place in Dubai, UAE. This participation reflects Mr. Achakzai’s commitment to global environmental issues and his dedication to representing Afghan youth perspectives on the international stage. During his speeches, he expressed concerns about climate change and highlighted the financial opportunities available to address this critical issue in Afghanistan.
