COP28 and Afghanistan

The Environmental Protection Trainings and Development Organization (EPTDO) has been accredited and admitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This accreditation marks EPTDO as an eligible organization able to attend all conferences related to the Paris Agreement and Kyoto Protocol. Meanwhile, EPTDO is the only organization from Afghanistan that has obtained UNFCCC accreditation. As an accredited NGO, Founder and CEO of EPTDO attended COP27 conference held in Egypt in November 2022, he also attended UN Bonn Climate Change International Conference held in Bonn Germany from 5 to 15 June 2023.

In addition, we are very excited to inform you that the Founder and CEO of EPTDO will be attending the upcoming COP28 conference in December 2023. To measure the success of his participation in the COP28 conference and ensure that adequate privilege has been used, it is very important to coordinate all issues with the environmental experts and use their experiences, guidance and consents.

For this purpose we would like to conduct online meetings with climate change experts, environmental professionals, lecturers and activists inside and outside of Afghanistan.
